Camp Carol has been a family-owned and operated business for 50+ years. We are located on the northern end of Black Lake. Camp Carol is situated on 5+ acres with over 700 feet of shoreline. Great fishing from shore for the young and old alike.

10 Cottages

Cottage #8 –New Year 2002

Cottage #5 – New Year 2004 and is handicap accessible. It is situated on the waterfront and has a beautiful view of the lake.

Cottage #2 – New Year 2005

Cottage #9 – New Year 2006

Cottages #1 and #2 are situated back away from waterfront while Cottages #3 through #10 are located on waterfront.

All cottages are equipped with cooking and eating utensils. Microwave oven. Coffeemaker. Toaster. Refrigerator/Freezer. Range. Mattress covers. Trash bags. Propane heat. Mattresses are double and single sizes. Picnic table. Screened-in porch with the exception of Cottage #5 which is an open-deck. Cottages are not equipped with personal linens, BBQ grills or their own fire pits.

RV AND TENT SITES

Tent areas have a picnic table and fire pit (waterfront sites). Check out our Breezy Point for tenting!

RV areas include a picnic table, water & electric hookup. We have a holding tank on the premises. Two RV areas have fire pits.

Toilet and shower facilities available for all campers

BOAT AND MOTOR RENTAL

Daily and weekly rates available

You must be 18 years of age to rent and operate a motor boat (proof required)

We have 14’ aluminum boats with 8hp and 9.8hp motors

15hp is the maximum size motor allowed on rental boat

There is deposit required for each boat/motor reservation (non-refundable deposit with cancellation of boat/motor reservation)

Boat and motor rates subject to NYS Sales Tax. Cost of gas/oil is not included in the boat motor rental charge.

No charge for boat rental with weekly cottage rental. Motor rental charge applies along with an extra charge for gas/oil mixture. This must be requested at time of reservation.

Boat includes one anchor, two oars and a U.S. Coast Guard Personal Floatation Device (PFD) for each person (New York State Law). Children 12 years of age and younger must wear a U.S. Coast Guard PFD while boating and we require the child wear a PFD while on our docking facilities.

If you refuse PFD(s) provided with our boat you are required to sign a Protective Floatation Device Waiver form upon arrival.

PETS

NO cats allowed in cottages.   

Pets must be leashed and in your attendance at all times and must hold a valid vaccination certificate. You must clean up after your pet. One pet per cottage.

SEASONAL SITES

Seasonal sites, when available, are for the entire season (May through September) unless a situation arises and there is availability within the seasonal timeframe. Seasonal camp fee is non refundable.
