Black Lake Tavern Closed

The Black Lake Tavern is closed up.....boards on doors and no signage. Looks like they could not make it. Too bad for the area.
Water level on the lake is still very high. Closed the cottage up and look forward to April already! I fished with lures in the north end for three hours and did not get a bite. Spinner baits used, trolled with deep perch stick baits, shorter and just under the surface Raps used too. Horny Toads tossed to shore line too. Nothing! I thought that pike and bass gourde at this time of the year???

Tori, don't feel bad. I made a couple hundred cast from shore with no luck after the second cast made. It netted a 24 inch northern. Still a nice weekend (fri-sat) to be at the lake. After seeing the forcast for the coming weekend, I couldn't close up the cottage. I'll be up again for three days this The list of fprojects seems to never twindle. Schu
