eel weir state park

can anyone help me on this one.how is the fishing in the park? i will be fishing from the shore is it worth it .

What time of year?

Pretty shallow around that area of the river, but you can likely get into a few panfish. Even a small rowboat or canoe will get you to some decent fishing not far from there.

I made the trek down there while practicing for the Dash for Cash, and caught some nice fish very close by. I found better fish in the main lake, but I still had it in mind as a back up if my better areas didn't pan out. If you ask me, if you can wet a line anywhere, why not do it?
