Walked on the ice about a half hour ago...cracked with every step. only about 10 feet out but ice was 1 inch thick.

Where abouts? Figured some of the smaller bays kept their ice cover and started adding to it last night. :D

Auger Charged? What kind of auger you got?
Let us know how you make out tomorrow - good luck and be safe.
I'm planning my 1st trip for Thursday - probably to some small lake in the Tupper Lake area. I hear they got some ice up that way :D .

I bought a new strike master 1200. It runs off a battery like the vex has. I watched them on youtube they drilled alot of holes on a single charge. You can charge or run it off your atv or truck if you want. the ethenol ate up my carb on my jiffy I am done with gas ones. plus with the hard shack the fumes suck. I will sell the jiffy cheap if someone wants to put the 14 dollar kit in it. I heard milearm had ice is this true?

Cool 8) I'd like to see the SM at work some time. I know what you mean about the exhaust and the temperamental gas engines, etc. I got an Ice Gator electric a couple of years ago ad just love it. It uses a battery pack of two of those batteries like the flashers use - 24V
I'd believe Mile Arm, but think it would be a bit "iffy" for me. Maybe next weekend though :D
