Awesome views from the webcams this AM - ice-ice-ice - and NO SNOW

Hope we don't get any of the lake effect event that is forecast - If we can get two more nights at near zero - we will be doing VERY well on the ice front.

Nice picture bigmouth ! I have never done any ice fishing, only watched others sit and brave the cold and cath fish. If we end up living in the North Country I hope I can give it a try!

Not even close to 8 inches here. Sunday morning we had just 5 inches... the afternoon rain and high wind knocked that down to < than 4 and now we are almost back to 5.

I will be there Phil I am headed out around 10:00 I put my hardshack out tonight the green one name "ECO MAGNET" lol I wouldnt fish by it I have to move it I was sitting over a bunch of dink perch only caught a few good gills. got 2 hits on the rattle reels though.

Your more than welcome to come over and warm up. give me a yell when I come out. If you are mobile I know a couple good spots there where I have got some good action but wont leave the shack at and once the shack gets moved that is where it will stay and me too.

Gonna pull shanty out this am. Feelin anxious about ice thickness. will 6 inches hold a 6x8 shack?
