Wrapped up my ice fishing for 2012 last Saturday at the Cranberry Lake Derby. Could've fished more if I wanted to travel a couple miles but walking out the door and setting tip-ups has me spoiled. Fished 41 days, and started 12 days later than last year. Was out 41 times last year as well. More fish this year but not the quality of last year. Big Fish...32" 8 lbs 3 oz. Best day...50 Perch in one hour. Sugarin' season now and gearing up to slam some Turkeys in May.

Nice season stats bigmouth.
I got a few days coming, myself. I'll end it when the pike season ends on the 15th.
One thing I'll say is that even though our weather has been strange, we've had an excellent season of ice-fishing. 8) Looking forward to uncovering the boat this weekend and maybe doing a little dual (ice in the am, water in the pm, fishing this week coming. :D

Well, I finished up my ice season yesterday. Moved on to open water, on the St. Lawrence today.

Starting a new thread here for pics and chit-chat relevant to the "soft-water" season.

Let's see some pics folks.
