Missing BL right now. Normally, this is the week I am at BL. Had other plans since the beginning of the year, to see family in Florida, but then they went ahead and made their own plans for this week. I am gonna miss seeing everyone at the lake. Hope you all have a fun time.

No count down for the Ice Addict this year... Taking a year off from BL, not real thrilled about that , but just have to many things going on right now to warrant a vacation. Been going the past 6 years straight, we love it there. We'll be back next year I'd imagine, I hope. Until then have fun everyone, and keep that Black Lake mystique alive.
Theres just something about that lake.....and it's certainly NOT the summer fishin'...

I'm with you ICE ADDICT. Between the low water, weeds, and now the rancid smell from rotting vegetation on the shoreline...I told my gf today I can't wait til the ice is back!

I'm with you guys and ice. Just glad I didn't start this discussion.
Maybe I'll get my Otter shelter out tomorrow, set the portable AC in the doorway and sit there with some of my ice gear and dream a little.
Just three more weeks and the average daily temp begins to "fall".
