Walleye Fry

Post by Phil » Thu Apr 19, 2012 9:12 pm

Anyone want to participate in the walleye stocking this next week? We have the word that we can have as much fry as we can handle from the Constantia Hatchery. We will need to go get them and then stock into the open waters of the lake. Have not picked the day yet.

I'm recovering from shoulder surgery but would like to help as much as I can. Call me: 315-771-3717. I am local (Fort Drum) and have a truck so let me know.

Thanks folks. It's looking like Friday afternoon for delivery to the boat launch. I will be headed to Constantia in the AM and back to the launch by early afternoon. Hope that works for everyone.
I think I can handle the pickup and the delivery to the launch. It would be nice to have 2 or three boaters there with clean garbage pails (the 30 gal size) to take the fry out into the lake.

Thank you guys for doing this for the rest of us whom can't. I don't fish walleye but really appreciate the efforts to preserve black lake as a great fishery.

is there a set time? It's my 5 year old sons birthday so I need to be heading home by 3:30. If anyone wants to jump on my boat they can.
