Just came back from my camp. Lake level has rose a few feet this last week. My access road when I left had one spot that was completely covered in water. Lots of flooded woodlands right now.

We have a crew heading up on the 5th. Hope it turns out better than last year. The wind was steady out of the east the hole week last year. But it's still fishing on Black Lake.

so glad i moved my week later into may. last year was tough . The water was way to high. We never had problems finding fish until last year. and when we did all they where hitting was live bait. not one to sit there and watch a bobber. Let me know if you can go under the bridge without being able to touch it. lol. south to north end clear the bridge Huge white caps, just turn back and fish the south side. good luck.
wind from the east fishing the least wind from the west fishing the best.
