With night's dipping into the 20's, the water should be cooling down fairly quickly now and since Phil already had my date picked, I'll go with Dec 16.

Don't know if any you "CAM watchers" saw it this AM but the Bigbay CAM showed a "white lake". First time "skimmed" over this season :big-grin:

Hello Guys its been a while. Hope everyone is good. I am gonna guess the 18th The water temps are getting close. I am already working on the new rhino mods getting it ready.

Hey Builderone. Good to see you back around and getting "tuned up" for the real fishing season. New Rhino huh? That will be nice.
I got a feeling this going to be one the best ice seasons in some time. I'll see you out there.

I hope it is a good season. I think we will have good ice this year. :D I got the rhino for comfort and a new trailer I am ready.Got the marcum and auger charged and waiting. have to build a rod box yet for the rhino. It will be good to visit again phil I still got your #. Congrats on the new house too.

Guys Just Checked your temp, and does not look good for ice. Here either.

Both cams showing a frozen lake again this AM. :big-grin: Maybe this will be the one that stays. If we can hold it till Friday night, we have a good chance of keeping it this time. Kind of "iffy" with temps getting near 40 for the next three days - but after that the weather looks promising for making ice. :big-grin: 8)
