Has anyone tallied up the dates on when the lake will freeze? Have we lost some guys yet?
The perch are hitting in Irondequoite Bay in Rochester. Some of these warm days are unbelievable. Rochester has gotten less than one inch of snow this fall and winter!!

I'm keeping track :big-grin: Looks like the ice is holding and we got some more cold weather coming. I think we may be on the ice fishing before the end of the year. :big-grin:

Here's what I have for dates and "picks" on the ice.
To date - the lake has frozen and thawed 2 times and is now frozen since 12-12-12 (must be something in that date) :big-grin: No one picked that date but boats11 is close. Waiting till the morning of the 19th to see if the 12-12 date holds up.

jhigginmike 12-16
Phil 12-17
Builderone 12-18
sasnyder 12-20
bigmouth 12-21
Sparky489 12-22
dougw 12-25
Frank54 12-26
tr21 12-29
ranger393 12-31
Tori 1-7
boats11 1-11

Hey Phil,

Not that I'm stepping on toes, but on my computer boats has January 11 posted for first ice, not December 11.

Hey Bigmouth - You crazy? You must be a dare devil.

:( So - the cam at back bay camps is showing open water this AM. We get to wait and start all over on the "first ice" guessing game. So, my guess is out the door  Maybe next week.
