we will be heading up to the lake this Sat. can anyone tell me hows the weeds, has the weather slowed them down???

Ranger...The weeds are way up already. Its been a tough year for me on the bluegill. 2 major water temp cooldowns caused by cold fronts & weeds choking my traditional spawn spots.

Thanks mrbluegill, I hope you find them gill's, I'll be looking for some big ones also for a nice fish fry, I hope the weather settle's down next week.

We do not need any more rain for the next 2 wks. Lake looks to be up a bit.

Maybe the weeds won't be so bad :wink: Yesterday it looked like they were raising the dock on the left side of the big bay cam so it was out of the water. This morning it is back under water :evil: Just maybe the lake rising will temporarly keep the weeds under a bit :wink: 3 more weeks for us to get to the lake for much needed relaxation........
