Hello all Black Lake Folks,
We need everyone to join the Black Lake Association on a yearly basis to promote the best interests of the lake. The dues are only $20 for the entire year. Right now we have over 900 taxed properties around the lake and only have 116 members paying dues! We need everyone to do their fair share so that Black Lake remains a beautiful destination for all of us.
Do you fish on Black Lake? Why not join the association and make sure that the lake stays pristine for you and your loved ones?
Thank you for sending your $20 check made out to Black Lake Association and sending it to:
Sherry Watson, Treasure
2996 C.R. #6
Hammond, NY 13646
I am not an association officer but these volunteers deserve our support....and $20.!
Thanks, Tori

Re: Black Lake Assoctiation
Thanks for the recommendation to join the Black Lake Association. For those of you unfamiliar, we are a 501(c)(3) not-for profit organization and a member of the New York State Federation of Lake Associations. Our mission is to Preserve, Protect and Enhance the Black Lake ecosystem.
Come check us out at our Annual Meeting on Saturday, July 13 at 10 am at the Black Lake Fish & Game building on State Highway 58 and Potato Street Road. Guest speakers this year include:
1) Dr. Brad Baldwin, Professor of Biology at St. Lawrence University, who will overview his study on the ecological health of Black Lake in 2012 for the Army Corps of Engineers; and
2) Timothy Burley, Professional Engineer with C2AE in Canton, who will be presenting the results of the survey his firm conducted regarding a possible sewer district for the Town of Morristown. He will be available to answer questions regarding the process to date and next steps.
If you have questions, please contact Karen Winters, Vice President at 315-440-6508 or email blacklakeassoc@gmail.com

Re: Black Lake Assoctiation
I would like to suggest that someone involved in the lake association join the Black Lake Facebook page to spread your message. The boat parade on July 6 doubled in size because of this page and people who read it. Just a thought - and our $20 will be on its way. Thanks for all that you do for the lake.
