I like your way of thinking Tori. I will chose Jan 3rd. I just hope we do not get snow like we have had Rain this summer.

Well, no way will it be into January before the ice comes on Black Lake. I think you must be looking at almanacs for sunny Rochester instead of the good old North Country!

Almanac says bitter cold and snowy winter. NOAA says better than average chance of above normal so makes it a tough call. Didn't Bigmouth win last year? I think he has the inside scoop and since I haven't seen it picked yet, I'm hoping for a Christmas present - Dec 25
