Caught seven keeper crappies Wednesday afternoon. Fished from shore. No boats out on lake Wed. or Thursday. I was up there to check on the cottage....no mice! Never turned on water cause of freezing temps coming. Stayed over night and came home. Water level is low for this time of the year.

Thanks for the report. I'd love to be out fishing. I hear that some folks have been getting a few bullhead. :D

Tori, were you using bait or lures? I'll be up this coming weekend to do some spring cleaning and get the house ready. I was hoping to turn the water on also but I may wait a few more weeks. Congrats on no mice. :D
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
