Headed to the lake for the opener of bass cant wait to get away even if the fish aren't biting always just nice to be at this beautiful place. We will report how we did when we get there. I hope everyone is having a great summer

Talked to a buddy that just got back from BL. He said the bass were biting on any thing you offered to crappie, of pike. so the fishing may not be off, so to speak. But like you said BL is not a bad place to be, catching or not. See you in 11 days.

Two more Saturdays to go and it will be open season on Bass. Of course they must be 15 inches to be legal and don't forget the limit. Catch & Release!!!!!!!

We only keep enough for one meal while we are there and the rest go back. We enjoy catching all species and are not hogs about killing, but a nice fish dinner is awesome to enjoy while on vacation.
