Going to get pretty chilly tonight - low teens. Maybe we'll see the lake skim over with some ice. 8) Late December is looking pretty good, weatherwise, for making ice. Hope to see a better season than last year.

CAM at bigbay is showing quite a bit of ice this cool morning. :big-grin:
Here's a snapshot from another CAM in the same location:

Yeah definitely skimmed. Doesn't look like it is going to last long though. Maybe some cold temperatures coming in 10 days or so will do it. If we are doing the first ice contest this year I will predict December 12.

We only have one CAM - don't think it is a good idea.

I close my cabin down for the winter, but still get lots of renters looking to stay during the ice season.

What camps on the lake stay open all year? I'd like to direct these people somewhere they can get a cabin.

Check out the accomodations page, the ones that are open advertise it.

Can't do any posting here about campsite preferences.

Got some serious cold weather coming this week. Probably be folks on the ice come next weekend, maybe before in some of the back bays. :big-grin:
