More Black Lake Access Gone?
New info from the owner of BL Marine is that he is charging for access - sounds like a good deal to me. Daily and seasonal rates.

Does anyone know how many legal access points there are for ice fishing? Did anyone see the article about Black lake ice fishing in Field and Stream 12/18-1/19 issue? Talked about Pike fishing and mentioned a few local camps and diners.

State Boat Launch. Rollaway Bay - I understand the gate is coming down. BUT, there is no legal parking near there.
Chapman's Sport Shop (private) will let you on.
Black Lake Marine has a pay for acces this season per day or season passes. Providing off road parking and porta potty.
Black Lake Treasures may let you on, with permission, they used to.
That's all I know about.

Are there no parking signs by rollaway? I am no expert on laws of the road but I have read that as long as on correct side and not hindering the free flow of traffic its ok.

I was up there. Both sides of both roads are posted, by the town, no parking/towaway symbols.
Not sure how far up the road you would have to go.

It looks like we still have access to rollaway bay for now but limited parking. Some vehicles were illegally parked Sat. I had a fella ask if he could cut holes inside my 40 yard circle of tip-ups. I don't own the lake so I said fine. Ten minutes later two of his friends came by an cut right in with him. Not something I would ever do. I found it rather strange..
