July 25th

got on the lake at 5 a.m today, wind wasn't too bad in the early morning but quickly became a problem. Tough to get any lure down when the wind is blowing your boat everywhere. Not too terrible of a day for the conditions, came back to the docks with a 3 pounder. No certain depth or color seems to be dominant right now.[/list]

Went back out tonight, and didn't do too hot again. Staying in the north end of the lake any help would be greatly appreciated

Don't know if this will be of much help, but last year we fished the north end and did well in Mitchell Bay, Upper big Bay, the channel side of Jennies Island and the east bank north of Bloodough Island. The weather is quite different this year though. Maybe try the outer (deeper) weed edges in those areas. I did well on spinnerbaits last year but in the heat you will probably be best served throwing Senkos and working them as slow as you can stand. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, we've been working senkos just can't seem to get them down with the wind as bad as it is right now. Hopefully better luck in the morning!
