Northern end of Lake?

As many years as I've fished BL, I have never gone further north than Upper Big Bay. I will be up there week of 7/11.
Is it worth the run to Bog Bay, Snake Island and as far as Lower Big Bay. It looks like that end of the lake doesn't get as much pressure as the southern end. It's probably around an 8 mile run down there from Pleasant View. Someone let me know..
P.S. I do CPR....

I have done quite well in the northern end, I would say pack a lunch and check it out. I did best at the far north with spinnerbaits and soft plastics on the spots where the weeds thin out and the spots with a hard bottom. Good luck!

From opening day for 2 weeks we took over 100 Large Mouth bass between the 2 of us all there...57 of them were well over 15 inches..It was terrific & nobody on the lake...

How are the weeds on the north end? Still fishable or not worth the trip. Haven't been to the lake in roughly a month or so. Anyone put in at Eel Weir and fish that section lately? Curious as to water levels and access to the far north end.
