Smallmouth/Crappie Tips?

I'm coming up this saturday and am staying at Pleasant View Cottages for the week, this year i'd like to catch a few Smallies and Crappie, I was thinking Senkos for the smallies? Any you anglers have a few good areas i should try? Shoals, drop offs, etc... and hows the fishing been this year so far? i havent been up since May for the Walleye/Pike opener

Buster,

Try MileArm bay, done real good in there the past few years on Crappies.

Also our best action for Craps is usually the last hour or so of daylight right off the docks... :wink:
