I am very impressed with BL. It was my first time going there and I have no complaints, except for the weeds. I lost a lot of fish because they just take you down and wrap you up in the weeds. It's frustrating, but it's part of what makes BL challenging and leaving you wanting more. Other than that, I was pleased with the size and number of fish that I caught. I caught all of my fish on floating rapalas and white spinnerbaits. I used a tube jig a little, but didn't have any luck with it. The fishing was much better on Sunday, which I assume had to do with the clouds and rain. I am definitely going back asap!
