Fished 9-13 to 9-20

Post by fishinmagician » Thu Sep 22, 2011 9:58 pm

Fished my first week in September. I am usually on the lake for the first two weeks of the bass opener. Very slow on both sides of the bridge. Even tried a day on Chaumont Bay (lake Ontario) fish had lock jaw over there too. Didn't use any live bait, that may have been the key. Senko's spinner baits, crank baits, jerk baits, all produced about the same very slow. No one bait was the hot set up. I believe the weather patterns were to blame. Two nights in the 30's and days in the upper 70's quite a swing in temps. That's why they call it fishing not catching.
The second amendment is in place, in case THEY decide to ignore all the others.
