Fishing report 10/1 - 10/7

We got to the lake on Sat 10/1 but did not get the boat off the trailer Mon 10/3. The rain was not bad but the wind made us stay on solid ground! The fishing was a little slow but we did catch our fair share of bass and pike. Only had one sm. for the week the rest were all lm. Our two biggest bass were 19 1/2 and 18 1/2. We did pick up some pike but on Thur. afternoon the pike did start hitting good. The biggest pike was about 24". It was a fun week but any week I spend at black lake is the cats meow! Looking forward to next May all ready.
