St. Lawrence River Reports

Post by Phil » Wed Mar 21, 2012 8:08 am

Have been out on the St. Lawrence the last few, warm, days after perch. Water temp was up to 45 yesterday afternoon and the perch are getting more active. Caught 3 keepers and threw back about 30 dinks.

I have seen about 12 boats a day all huddled around wheat house bay in the burg. All perch fishing I presume. With weather in the high 70's in MARCH , which is exciting enough...I bet you were loving every second fishing regardless how many keepers you caught. Good for you. My boat is almost ready now if I could only get a whole day off.
