6/23-29
After 4 years of not visiting the lake, I was anxious to return. The bite was tougher than expected, probably from the unseasonable conditions. Beginning of the week had a strong front come through dropping the water temp by 8-10 degrees depending on location and put the fish in a funk. Fishing was steady, with the occasional quality fish, numbers were down from prior visits but bites were persistent. Here are some pics of the “big” ones: smallies 3.35 & 3.6 and largie 4.55…100% catch and release.

Looks like you had some luck. It is unfortunate when the weather deals you a bad hand when you have just a few days there.

Excellent photos! I can imagine that SM bass coming 2' out of the water after the hookset... nice job to you both.
