Ice thickness??

Post by Brian Weisman » Wed Jan 13, 2016 5:34 pm

Anyone know what the ice thickness in front of The Black Lake Bait Store, are people out fishing yet?? I am thinking of coming up to fish this weekend if the ice is solid enough. Any information would be great, or any other ice thickness reports.

Yes, been fishing for more than a week. About 6" of good ice in that area.

Still 6 inches of clear black ice where I fish. on the ice Fri, Sat, and Sun. Some of the fattest ever.

Why so fat looking in the winter and skinny as a rail in the summer?
