fishing report May 10 - May 13

The Forestport gang , we came on Thursday afternoon , but due to the wind we put the boats in Friday , with 5 of us fishing we caught 88 fish , 50 northern pike 15" to 31 " , 17 dogfish 18 " to 29 " , 11 bullheads 12 " to 15 " , 9 LM Bass 16 " to 19 " , and 1 walleye all catch and release , we used live minnows and fishing about 100 feet from the tree line , best weekend we ever had , great weather and very little wind ....another great trip to Black Lake .....

Glad to see everyone had a great time. But was surprised
To see no crappie report. I assume you guys never intentionally fished for crappie. Hard to believe the crappie bite is that off.

we don't fish for crappie , we use large minnows and fish for the larger fish , the people in the other camps that were fishing for crappie said they were hitting very good ... after 49 years coming to black lake , I can say I always have a good time ....
