Ok. So it wasn't a success. However, I am sure not everyone could make it, that wanted to. I know that I have met some people on here that I feel are now friends and have been able to share information and stories with them. Jerry, as he might not have known his impact, seemed like a close friend with loads of information that I found very helpful and interesting. To all whom remember him...please post something. Today marks a year of his passing. He is missed.

I also never meet Jerry but got some good information and tips from his posts. I have been going the lake every summer for the 41 years I have been around. My Grandparents bought land and built camps on Black Lake with a couple of other people in the 50's. All 3 families still own the property. Black Lake will always be a place where I find peace. Even when the fishing is at its worst, I can't begin to describe the beauty of the lake, its surroundings, and the nature that you see that comes with being at the lake. This past weekend alone, I seen a pair of swans, a pair of Bald Eagles, an Osprey swooping down and having better luck fishing then we were, countless geese and the different types of ducks are amazing. I am so thankful that I get to bring my family there. This must be why Jerry loved the lake so much. RIP Jerry.
