Good Day
I am bringing my boys out this weekend to see if we can catch some pike/walleye. They have never hooked a fish of that caliber. I will be entering the lake from the Oswegatchie (lower Big Bay?) any suggestions on what depth of water and tackle. Any help would be great. I feel like a kid again myself!

Re: walleye pike
we were catching them in any of the bays, we would just put along until we found a cove or bay that would cut into the shorline a lil, anchor outside of it and throw pike rigs out ( big bobber, steal leader trebel witha big minnow) and we caught em all over the place, nothin monster though, and the walleyes were hittin down under the bridge, but the shoreline is pretty jagged and dangerous so probably not for the kids.

Re: walleye pike
Thanks. we went out and caught all kinds of panfish. no walleye or northern. I will take any rigging suggestions anyone is willing to give. It was fun, will be back out later in the week.
