Food

Post by ken18621 » Mon Aug 22, 2011 8:09 pm

3 guys are heading up on Thursday and are not really planning on cooking any meals. Can anyone tell me what dining options are out there? I know that black lake tavern is closed.... thank god....... is the gas station that sells hoagies and pizza still open or was that the one that was shut down?

The larger store with the bait shop is the one that shut down. The smaller convenient store is still open. Besides the fishbone cafe there is also Turner's. Not sure if the Paddle Inn serves food.

Try the Bedrock Cafe. follow 58 past the Turner inn, turn right on 37 for a few miles, will be on your right. They have a great breakfast menu and the food is great!

You could travel to Ogdensburg for breakfast....about 12 miles from Edwardsville. Burger King and McDonald's and several smaller restaurants in the Burg.

Buster's Sports bar in O-berg. Great food, big portions, and worth the drive!

The guy that turned me on to Buster's said, one thing is for sure, you'll never leave there hungry.
