Butterfield lake
While up at black lake a couple weeks ago, took a skip over to butterfield lake. Fished most of the day without any luck. It was our first time there and didn't know where to fish, so we beat the shorelines with mepps hoping for pike to bite. Did catch a few small bass. Are there pike in there? What could I expect to catch there? There really was noone around to ask. Been going to black lake 2x a year for the past 20 and was hoping that butterfield might be a good place to fish and get out of the pounding wind at black lake we always seem to find.

Re: Butterfield lake
Butterfield has Crappie, Pike, Walleye and Bass, for sure. Probably perch, though I've never heard that they were a "target" there.

Re: Butterfield lake
Lots of views of this topic, but, apparently not a lot of info on the lake. Will have to try it when we come up in Sept.
