SUNRISE AT SUNNYSIDE
Sunrise at Sunnyside

A typical summer sunrise as seen from Sunnyside. You have not experienced serenity until you've awakened to a sight like this and breathed the fresh morning air along the shores of Black Lake.

Located in the Village of Edwardsville at the intersection of Black Lake Road (County Route 6) and State Route 58. This is the hub of civilization in the community. It has a grocery store with subs and pizza and of course beer right across the street from Sunnyside. It is also with in easy walking to 2 restaurants and just a short drive for mini-golf and ice cream.

Need a break from Fishin'?
Maybe not you, but how about the Wife and Kids. A very scenic drive along the St. Lawrence River on route 12 will take you to Alexandria Bay and the Thousand Islands. While there you will want to take a boat tour of the Islands and a visit to the famous Boldt Castle on Hart Island is a must. Continuing south on 12 is the 1,000 Islands International Bridge to Wellesley Island and the Canadian, Hill Island, home of the Skydeck Tower
A little further south on 12 is Clayton and the Antique Boat Museum or Cape Vincent and Tibbet's Point Lighthouse and a ferry to Canada.
In the opposite direction is the
City of Ogdensburg and the Frederic Remington Art Museum as well as any number of shopping opportunities including Wal-Mart. Travel on to Massena and the Dwight D. Eisenhower Locks and the St. Lawrence-FDR Power Project.
Maybe a day trip to the Adirondack Museum or into Canada for a 1000 Island Boat Tour at Brockville or a tour of Ottawa and don't forget the Upper Canada Village or Gananoque and Kingston and Old Fort Henry.

We hope you will come visit us at Sunnyside of Black Lake. It is a warm and friendly place to catch a big mess of fish and enjoy the splendid beauty of Black Lake and northern New York.
